Eagle Scout Project

Next weekend, October 28-29, there will be an Eagle Scout Project.

Jake T., of our troop will be conducting his Eagle Scout project at the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, NJ. The project will be Saturday and Sunday and will last from about 9-5 each day. Volunteers are needed and appreciated. This is a great opportunity for service hours and free food will be available at all times during the project. Any volunteer must remain for at least one hour and are encouraged to bring layered and long sleeved clothes along with heavy boots and work gloves.

Most of the work done will be shoveling soil and the more people that come the easier the job gets.

This is also a chance to earn the community service patch for your uniform.

The address of the Arboretum is:

Reeves-Reed Arboretum
165 Hobart Avenue, Summit, NJ
(908) 273-8787
